Can I view both the 30 day calendar and today's detail calendar?

I am used to the Palm Desktop view and am now switching to Outlook for
contacts and calendar. Is it possible to see the full month and today's
detail at the same time?

WIth the Calendar open in one window showing the day view, right-click the
Calendar in the Navigation Pane and choose "Open in New Window". Then set
that view to the month view.
