Can junk mail be BLOCKED using Outlook 2002.

At present, Outlook notifies me new mail has been received and I have to stop
what I am doing to see if it is important. Once I have identified junk mail
coming from a particular address, I want it to be blocked or permanently
deleted without further attention from me. Is this possible?

I find that it is rare that a Junk Mail will continue to come from the same
address more then once. I think you will find that it can me filtered, but
tomorrow it will come from another address.

Outlook 2002's filters are pretty lame - you're better off with a 3rd party
antispam program.

if you want to use rules, see
http://www.slipstick.com/rules/junkmail.htm#sue

3rd party tools are listed on the same page.

Some junk mail can be filtered and some can't. Outlook 2002 has a junk mail
filter that you can enable through Organize, but it's not the best filter.
OL also has a "Junk Senders" and "Adult Content Senders" list that you can
populate that can help. However, there are third-party add-ins, like
http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ that may prove more effective than the
built-in filter Outlook 2002 has.
