Can MSProject make a given TaskBar hilight *automatically* when I.

For ease of viewing large projects, I would like MSProject to highlight a
given TaskBar automatically when the corresponding TaskName is selected.

Seems obvious, but I can't seem to make it do this. Please advise how to do
this?

Thanks!

You can't do it because it can't be done.
You can click on the find task icon on the toolbar to bring the task into
view. Other than that people just look to the right of the task table and
find the bar.

Jack,
Ooooooo, is that another challenge I detect - "you can't do it because
it can't be done"? Never say no.

Ok, here's the pitch. How about a Click Event macro that triggers code
to highlight the task bar by perhaps changing the color temporarily?

I'm not sure it's worth the trouble, but it looks to me that maybe it
can be done. It's kinda like the guy who posted several months ago and
wanted to have the "+" and "-" indicators show on a printout.
