Can no longer view all e-mails I've sent in Sent Item folder..Why?

My "Sent Item" folder is not showing all the e-mails I've been sending. Why?
and How can I get them to?

G'Day Hampton Rose,

In Outlook:
Tools>Options
Preferences (tab)
E-mail Options... (button)
Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder (check the box)
