can not activate or register microsoft office 2003 using internet

After installing microsoft office 2003, and I click any program on microsoft
office 2003 a dialoge box prompt up saying "activate and register program
using internet" The wizard starts connecting and stops at 37%. A error
message prompts up saying
"Wizard cannot connect to the internet your connection is probally not
connected properly". My internet connection is connected properly because I
go in and out of the internet with no problems.

I am having similar problems. I just upgraded to XP with SP 2 and could not
register. I can surf the internet with no problems, even download things,
but whenever another program needs to connect to the internet for
registration or something (Windows, Norton Anti-Virus, iTunes) there is an
error message that says it can't connect to the internet. Please let me know
if you get a helpful response with your problem and I'll do the same for you.
