Can not close Archive pst file

J

Jerry Flatto

I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP.

I am unable to close the Archive pst file when using
Outlook. As a matter of fact, I have two copies of the
archive folder at the bottom of my folder list.

When I right click on either of the archive folders and
try to close it, I receive an error message of:
"The operation failed. An object could not be found."

I wish I knew what object can not be found.

All help is greatly appreciated.

The easiest way to get rid of a "ghost" .PST file is to create a new mail
profile. You can do this via Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles.
