can not delete surrogate timesheet in 07

All, I have a user that I created a surrogate timesheet for, when the user
clicks on it, it comes up and says "A surrogate has created a timesheet for
you, Click OK to delete the existing timesheet and create a new one." when he
clicks OK he gets the green spinning ball, and never returns. Any Ideals on
how we can delete this surrogate timesheet, so he can create a new one?
