Can not modify recurring appointment after exmerge mailbox

Hello,

Recently I have moved users mailboxes from domain X to domain Y using
exmerge, as users already had domain account also in domain Y. Everything
transferred OK and everything is working, except if someone has a recurring
appointment and she wants to modify the date and time for a particualr
occurence (not the whole series), she gets the notfication that her account
does not have permission to save the changes. She is the originator of the
meeting on domain X and she is still the same user in domain Y. After exmerge
ther mailbox from domain X to domain Y, we had to create new outlook profile
in domain Y. Is this the reason for it? Is there a possible fix for it?
