Can not open database... Need help...

I'm getting the following message:
This database is an unexpected state; Microsoft Office
Accesss can not open it.

I have try every recommendation such as repair & compact,
import to a new database and nothing seems to work. Any
help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Get out your backup disk... :-{(

The database may be irretrievably corrupted, especially if you have
compacted it since the problem arose. See Tony's corruption FAQ at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm for advice; there are
links to some database salvage services at the bottom of the page.
