can not open Word document

For the last three weeks, I am not able to open a Word
document sent as an Email attachment from a specific
sender. I get a message asking to check for file
permission, check memory space, or use text recovery.
Text recovery did not recover all the format info.
I am able to open Word documents from other senders.

This problem only seems to occur between me and the
originating sender as others can open the word document?

Any suggestions?

The senders attachment is being corrupted - presumably en route. Ask them to
ZIP the document before sending it: this usually makes the document more
robust.
