Can not print emails, but can print attachments

A user is trying to print to a toshiba printer. in any application she can
print with no problem. in outlook 2007 though, the body of the email will
not print, but you can print an attachment with no problem

if i switch the default printer to a HP pronter, the email will print

Does the printer go through the motions of printing? Does the e-mail
appear in the print queue?

It does go through the motions, the pop up information shows that this
document was sent to the toshiba, but the printer never kicks off. we have
to enter department codes for each print job, but the printer does work as
normal in all other applications, whether its word, excel or IE

based on your description, i would say the driver for the Toshiba is not
compatible with something in the 2007 Outlook print stream. I would
check with Toshiba tech support.
