Can not print from Word 2000 but can with any other program

Ok...This one has me

I have XP home, Office 2k, and a HP 845C printer

All of a sudden...Word does not print out my documents.
but I can print pictures from ACDSEE and i can print from
Explorer.

on the paper i sometimes see ~~~~~~~~~ very small like the
fonts are not working but im using ariel

If you used to be able to print correctly to this printer from Word, then try deleting and reinstalling the printer in Start | Control Panel | Printers.

I even moved the printer to another PC and I can not print
from word...and I just did the office upgrades.
I cant even print from a new document or an existing one
hmmmm .. im getting stumped
