Can Not Publish To Project Central

Project Central SR1 is installed on our Web Server in the DMZ the O/S is
Windows 2000 IIS5.

We can conect to project central over a browser and update time sheets etc
however when trying to Publish Updates or New Projects from Project 2000 to
Project Central the publish fails with an error suggesting that the URL is
wrong or the web server is offline.

I can find no errors in the firewall suggesting that comunication between
Project and Project Central is being stopped. What Port would this
comunication be happening over?

Can anyone sugest any other reason for us not being able to publish?

You don't want to open it, but it's Port 1433. Standard SQL port. Use
terminal services for this type of access.

Hi

I opened Port 1433 between the Web Server and the PC that is trying to
publish the Updated Project but the update still fails with the indication
that we are useing the wrong URL. Which we are not.

We have entered the URL as http:\\servername\projectcentral

If I Trype http:\\servername\projectcentral into my Web Browser then Project
Central Opens.

All other aspects of Project Central are working, except this inability to
publish from Project 2000 to Project Central.

This is a new set up of Project Central but looking at our original Project
central Database. The Project Central Database is on a SQL Server on the Lcal
LAN.

We have a new Web Server and New SQL Server.

The only difference between the old and new setup is that the Web Server is
now in the DMZ. Previously it was on the Local LAN.

DNS entries for the WEB server on our local DNS Server are correct.

Can you offer any other suggestions?
