Can not reinstall

I have XP windows with office 2000, works and words 95,98.
I installed Norton Anti Virus 2004.I have not been able to open words in Documents since
I have tried to take Nortons off but it hooked like a virus. In both my master and slave drivers
It has block my install sheild so I can not repair For files (Add and Remove) or reboot word from a CD.
How do I get my Install Sheild back
