Can not update DB w/ XP Pro

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot update.
Database or object is read-only.

Useing IIS on my own laptop, I can not get this MS Access
DB to update. The read-only is not checked.
