Can one change the days in a Month to reflect the accounting month

Is there any way to set the Months in the project server calendar to work off
of our Accounting Month? The accounting month frequently include weeks from
the following month.

When I create my resource utilization graph for projects I am starting to
run into a problem. I am comparing the Accounting Month Actuals to the
Calendar month and for Accounting months with 5 weeks, there is a significant
difference.

There is no way to format the calendars in Project Server to following
accounting months. Sorry.

This seems like a big issue. We currently forecast hours using EPK
(www.epkgroup.com) running on top of Project server, but would like to
switch over to PS 07. One of our most important reports is comparing
actuals to forecasted hours. We currently forecast by quarters but may
switch over to monthly forecasting. Either way it doesn't look like we
could easily align the forecasts in Project Server to our Accounting period
Actuals.

Has anyone found a workaround for this?

Thanks,

Colin

For reporting purposes, Project Server 2007 allows you to specify the
accounting periods used for reporting costs. There is no way to set
calendars in Project Server to show this information, however. Hope this
helps.
