As well as a spell checker, Outlook 2003 could possibly be enhanced by adding
a checkbox option to verify if an attachment is intended to be included on
outgoing mails, if the words 'attached' or 'attachment' are present in a mail
but an attachment is missing . There have been a number of instances when
mails have been sent out without an intended attachment, meaning either the
recipient has to notify the sender that the attachment is lacking from the
mail or the sender realises the error and has to send the same mail again
with the attachment.
