Can Outlook require periodic updates for an assigned task?

[Pitch]

I have assigned many tasks and would like the person assigned to be prompted
on a regular (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) basis to provide an update on the
status of the task.

Outlook doesn't ahve any built-in way to demand that.
