Not in the UK according to the UK Microsoft website. Powerpoint is onl
available as part of Microsoft Office. All new editions of Office
including the Small Business Edition, now includes Powerpoint.

However, if you live in the US it seems you can buy it as
'standalone' application

You can certainly install the standalone Powerpoint without having t
remove your older Office suite -- they can exist together. Just accep
all the installation defaults otherwise you might confuse it. Then yo
can put the new Powerpoint shortcut anywhere you like in the 'Al
Programs' menu and/or on the Desktop alongside the other Offic
shortcuts so they all "appear" to be part of the same suite

for http://trymicrosoftoffice.com and lists the four usual retail product suites for Office 2007.

lists the individual products as well as the Office 2007 product suites. The trial download page does not include the 'MS Office
2007 Basic (OEM only) edition.

The OEM edition is often packaged with new computers and does not include Powerpoint.
