Can powerpoint play on a web page

S

Scott Whittaker

I am a web developer who has never used PowerPoint.
However, I have had several clients ask if they could take their
presentations and display them on their site.

Is that possible?
Does the PP presentation have to be saved in any particular format?
Does the visitor have to have a program on their computer to run the
presentation?

Thanks for the help.

They can simply click File, Save as webpage...
Different versions of PP will operate differently from this point. But if
they are using PP '03, it's actually a very powerful tool. The presentation
will be saved in a framed page with links to the slides on the left and the
notes for each slide on the bottom (looks much like the slide view in
powerpoint).
