Can Project operate on daily scale?

I need to schedule a project on daily scale as apposed to
hourly scale. In other words, I don't need to worry about
different hours in a day. The minimum time scale is 'a
day'. Could anybody tell me how this can be done? Thanks!

Are you seeing dates and times in the start and finish columns? If so,
select Tools, Options and select a date format that doesn't show time.
Project will still calculate to the nearest minute, you just won't see the
time.
