Sorry, the question posted before I was finished...
anyway, after putting in these 2 Kingston 256MB RAM cards (along with an
older RAM card which somehow got damaged in the process of upgrading my RAM,
either by pulling it out/pushing it into the slot or due to a conflict w/ the
Kingston RAM), I am suddenly having all kinds of hanging and crashing,
particularly in Outlook, which I use the most. I don't know if upgrading the
RAM can cause this kind of problem. I also put in a GeForce 6600 128MB AGP
card. Finally, the guys who installed the RAM for me said that my power
supply (only rated at 150 watts, but may provide less than that, perhaps 100)
may be too weak to support everything in my motherboard. It is truly a
wilderness of changes & configurations, but I noticed that the problems w/
Outlook crashing & hanging (as well as other utilities running in the
background such as MSGSRV32 and CHCAPP? and Explorer) began when I upgraded
the RAM (now I have 3 cards of 256, 2 of them Kingston and 1 an older card).
Please let me know what could be causing this problem.
