I have been using my entourage account for about a year now with no
problems. About two weeks ago I stopped getting emails from my website
and then two days ago I stopped receiving emails completely, apart
from two spam emails, one yesterday and one today. I can send no
problem. I have deleted over 4500 emails in order to free up some
space. But this still does not solved the problem.

That sounds like a server issue. Have you tried contacting the people
in charge?

Normally, it's an account setting, but if you actually received a couple
of emails, it sounds like a bad message on the server. Log into your
account with your browser and move all mail out of the Inbox. Drag back
a couple of emails to the Inbox on your browser then see if Entourage
can receive.

Most likely it's one of the oldest messages. Often it's spam, but I've
seen simple plain text messages that were the problem.

Basics:

1. If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP configuration
2. If you can send but not receive you have a bad POP or IMAP configuration

You can try re-entering info.
You can delete account and create a new one.
Using copy/paste can result in an extra space being added. Type carefully.
Check your Keychain for corruption.
Check under advanced settings. Most ISPs require advanced settings now
for SMTP. Check the website for exact info on SSL and ports.
