Can/Should Activation Assistant be removed after installation.....

After some initial hiccups with the installation of MS Office Standard 2007,
I'm off and running. In reviewing the Add/Remove program area, I noticed a
program called "Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office Suites."
Can/Should this be removed?

Thank you-

The Office Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites tool
is preinstalled on OEM computers together with one or more 2007 Office
system products. This tool gives users a simple way to request a trial activation key.
This key is required when a 2007 Office application from a preinstalled 2007
Office system product is started for the first time.

You can uninstall this item if you wish.
