CAN SOMEONE HEAR THE FRUSTRATION ???

N

NEO

What a mess...
I thought everything supposed to be simple with MS...HELP ME!!!

1. I can't add or remove software - It gives me an error message...Suddenly..
How do i get access to my programs again?..

2. Also, i have 2 computers, one' a 4yo laptop (p3) with ms 2000
professional.
The second is a 3yo desktop (P4) with MS XP Professional.

I lost all of my CD's during a move and I CANNOT FUNCTION !!!

WHY CAN'T I USE 2 (!) COMPUTERS, THAT I BOUGHT FOR SO MUCH MONEY...WHY???

Can someone help the simple people (probably millions) that are screwed
because they use MS systems?
Does everything has to be complicated with court orders or does one has to
be an engineer to be able to deal with patches and weired terms as such?

CAN SOMEONE HEAR THE FRUSTRATION???

Do we - the 'average mob' - have to buy a new computer every 2-3 years?
IS THAT THE PLAN???
Why am i not sure someone will be able to help with such a basic things,
like an OPERATING SYSTEM, that cannot be updated and holds everyone by the
b*lls...

Please help...

How is it any Corporation's fault (e.g., you are being screwed) by YOU
losing YOUR CDs????? Do you need your hand held when you are using a
computer? If not, then learn the simple basics of using a computer.
Installation disks should always be saved - if they are not, they must be
replaced. If not replaced, they cannot be used for system maintenance,
reinstallation. It is the consumer's responsibility to retain all required
CDs, not the company that sold you the PC or the program.

Because you're a dickwad. There's no other word for it (well, actually,
there are plenty, but 'dickwad' will suffice - for now).

You can't even post to the right group - your post appears (I say appears
because I can't really decipher your inane, deranged ramblings) to be about
Windows XP and and Windows 2000.

I'll take each of your inane points individually

1. I can't add or remove software - It gives me an error
message...Suddenly.. How do i get access to my programs again?..

And the error message would be...? I can't see your computer from here,
dickwad. Get a clue.

2. Also, i have 2 computers, one' a 4yo laptop (p3) with ms 2000
professional. The second is a 3yo desktop (P4) with MS XP Professional. I
lost all of my CD's during a move and I CANNOT FUNCTION !!!

And that concerns us how, exactly? Why should we be concerned that you
cannot package your discs properly and put them in a safe place? Now, it it
was me (and this is only what I would do, you obviously wouldn't think about
doing something like this) I would put them all in a safe place (like a disc
wallet) and I would write the installation keys on the discs with a CD
marker, so I'd never lose the discs - or keys - again. I would also have all
the keys backed up in a text file, both on the computer and a hard copy in a
file. I also have the text file backed up on a password-protected flash
drive.

Now, if it was me moving house (and this is just me, mind) I would put that
CD wallet in a safe place so I knew where it was, say the glove compartment
of the car. Then, when I arrived at my new house, I wouldn't have to panic
about lost discs because I would know exactly where they were.

So, you lost your discs, boo hoo! Not our problem - *yours*. Look in the
mirror and say out loud "I am the world's biggest dickwad". You can also
type it 1000 times in a Word document. Oh, whoops, I forgot - you can't!

If the discs came with the computers then it's the manufacturer who must
supply you with replacements. MS has nothing to do with OEM software (other
than supplying the code to the manufacturer).

WHY CAN'T I USE 2 (!) COMPUTERS, THAT I BOUGHT FOR SO MUCH MONEY...WHY???

You've already answered that question, fucktard. *YOU* lost the discs,
remember?! Moron.

CAN SOMEONE HEAR THE FRUSTRATION???

Probably, but I doubt if anyone gives a ****.

Do we - the 'average mob' - have to buy a new computer every 2-3 years?

No, we have to learn to keep our discs safe. If we do that then we don't
have problems. Do you see the correlation? If we don't lose our discs we
don't have these sorts of problems. Do you understand that, or shall I break
it down into words a preschooler would understand?

You now have no choice but to purchase full licences for all your software.
You only have yourself to blame.

Oh, and this is an *OFFICE* group by the way - you're so much of a dickwad
you can't even post to the correct group!

You need help, I'll agree with you there, unfortunately it's not the sort of
help you'll find here.

I don't remember losing your CDs.. trolls lose CDs.. you lost your CDs..
omg, you're a troll.. not exactly rocket science, eh..

OK, so now we have established who lost the CDs.. let us look at where the
responsibility lies.. it certainly isn't with me, Milly, or Bill Gates
because we didn't know that you had CDs until now.. its not looking good for
you at all, is it.. you lost the CDs and it is your responsibility..

Can we hear frustration?.. oh for sure.. the frustration brought about by
your own careless actions for which you seem to believe somebody else is
responsible..

Look harder or buy some more

PS: If you can produce the CD Key, you may be able to purchase new CD's at a
reduced cost.

PPS: I also agree with the others that have replied to your post.
