In the address line of your Internet browser, enter
http://office.microsoft.com/ and press enter or click the arrow button,
which will take you to the home page of "Office Online". On that page you
will see two options, one to purchase, and the other to obtain a 60-day free
trial version of Office 2007. Click the Download Now button and follow the
instructions.

If you are insistent upon getting Access 2000, you will likely have to
purchase it... use your favorite search engine to look for "old software" or
similar wording. Also, at http://www.ebay.com, there are search options
that might find a used (or even an unused) copy. If you get a copy in any
way, be sure to obtain and install all three service packs. The original
Access 2000 had a lot of problems, fixed in the Service Packs.

But, if you do not want to try the latest, I'd suggest you look for Access
2003 rather than 2000.

I tried this, and it never worked -- it told me on first run that
the trial period had expired (and this was immediately after
downloading it).
