Can someone write my entire Database for me please?

T

TonyT

and whilst their at it do my daughters homework for her too on database
structure and design?

I've not been around here for a year or so, but am involved in databases
again now, and boy has it changed around here.

I just want to say top marks and respect to all the regulars answering the
same questions over and over & providing the answers that the user could,
probably 60% of the time, find by pressing F1......... (ok 60 % is generous)

Last and least, does 'Ok I've figured it out' mean that the answer given was
correct or at least helped in any way or does it mean the user would rather
feel the elation of having solved how to open a form in design view on their
own?

Ok grumble over,
still a great resource, keep up the good work one and all,

cheers,
TonyT..

60% is very generous if you're talking about the onboard Help file, but I
bet it's over 60% if using Google groups. In either case, coming up with
the correct search terminology or string makes all the difference.
Sometimes I can't figure out how to phrase the question, so Google either
gives me no answers or way too many, but there's a knack to that like
anything else. I can find more answers that I used to.
I do wish that people who in effect shout "Eureka!" would explain their
epiphany more often than they do.

I am sometimes tempted to try and sart a fashion for using the standard
mimisters reply at question time in Parliament:
"I refer the honourable member to my previous answer." :->

Unfortunately I am running Access 2007 beta and pressing F1 just brings up a
message box saying "There are no help topics that match your request."

As you will have noticed many people's problem is defining what their
question is, and that goes for asking F1 just as much as it does for asking
us. Anyway, I have a weakness for people that ask me questions that I can
answer.

That was supposed to be "than I used to"
