I am trying to run an application (Yahoo Gadgets) in the bottom 20% of
the screen while running a powerpoint presentation. The idea is a
digital sign. Any ideas!!!

Kind of

in powerpoint
slide show menu > set up show > tick 'browsed by an individual (window"

then when you view the show you can resize the slideshow and move the window
around
