Can u play VIDEO 1, then have OBJECT 2 animate after a time delay (BUT HAVE
OBJECT 2 SHOW UP ON TOP OF VIDEO 1)?

If I play the video, then when I have the object animate, it will only
appear behind the video. There is not the option to have them side by side.
The object must appear after the start of the video, and must appear on top
of the video.

Part 2, I would also love to make the OBJECT2 disappear after a set time as
well, while the video is still running.

IS THIS BEYOND POWERPOINT'S ABILITY?

Video always runs on top in PPT. You'll need to add the object to the video
itself.
