can view access on network

Recently my boss is unable to open our database (access 2002) which is on our
shared network. It previously worked but I was wondering if a recent upgrade
to IE 7 is the culprit. I get this message "Microsoft Access cannot open this
file. This file is located outside your intranet or an untrusted site.
Microsoft Access will not open file due to potential security risk". Other
computers on our network don't have a problem accessing the database.
Although they might not have upgraded to IE7. I tried to change the settings
inside his IE under Options, Intranet. But it didn't seem to help. Thanks for
any input.

You need to add the server name to the Intranet zone in the Options in IE.
Use \\servername\path
