Can VISIO charts be used in PowerPoint or copied into PowerPoint?

I am considering purchasing VISIO for our company and wanted to know if I
create charts etc., in VISIO can they be copied and pasted into a slide or
used in PowerPoint presentations easily?

Visio can be imported into powerpoint using object embed, bitmap formats,
and metafile formats. Copying does not infer the ability to edit them after
they get there using powerpoint (with the obvious exception of working with
metafile formats).
