Hi All,

I Want to Open Power Point Inside a Microsoft Project 2002
and it should be Editable and Savable. Is this possible?
Or we need to write any macros etc..etc.. Or is there any
chance with Microsoft Project Guide.

Please Let Me know, waiting for the REPLY on this. Its a
bottle Neck for my project.

Thanks

One option for doing this would be to upload the PowerPoint file to the
Documents subweb for the project with which it is associated in Project Web
Access. This option would only be available to you if you are using
Microsoft Project 2002 or 2003 Professional with Project Server.

If you are not using Project Server, then try the following steps:

1. Open the project in question and make sure the first task is selected
2. Click Window - Split
3. In the lower viewing pane (Task Form), right-click and select "Objects"
from the shortcut menu
4. Click Insert - Object
5. In the Insert Object dialog box, select the "Create from File" option
6. Click the Browse button and navigate to the location of the PowerPoint
file
7. Select the PowerPoint file and click the Insert button
8. In the Insert Object dialog box, select the "Display as Icon" option
9. Click the Change Icon... button
10. Change the Label of the icon to a name you prefer and click OK
11. Click the OK button to close the Insert Object dialog box
12. Save your project

The above steps will embed a copy of the PowerPoint slideshow into your
project. The embedded copy will be both editable and runnable. To run the
slideshow, simply double-click the icon the lower pane. To edit the
slideshow, right-click on the presentation icon and select Edit from the
shortcut menu. Hope this helps.
