Can you appy a hyperlink to smart add shapes in 2007?

Hi Alanna

No, unfortunately not. You can add hyperlinks to text within shapes but
(from a brief bit of testing) it appears it is hard to get the right bit to
click - only seems to be the underline that hyperlinks. Anyway, you don't
want to hyperlink to words as they get all underlined and ugly :) Instead,
add 99% transparent shapes over the top of the smart art bits or paste
special -> emf to a new slide and ungroup the smart art, then add your
hyperlinks.

Thanks Lucy - that's sort of what I ended up doing...I grouped all the
obects inside the smart art box - did a control x, then deleted the box and
pasted the objects back in and added the links. I just started using 2007
and it will be one more thing to learn and remember!

In PPT 2007 you can make the shape 100% transparent and the link still
works.
