Can you convert Microsoft Office files from RGB formats to CMYK?

I have been trying to figure this out and cannot find any options to switch
to and from...

So if I create a pdf file from the office file, and then covert, will that
work? I have Illustrator, and obviously have no problems, but Im trying to
come up with a reliable system that my co-workers can use, and our network
supports Office products.

You need to make sure you have the right settings within Acrobat.

I've done it once and that was about 3 years ago. Your best option would be
to either read the help file in Acrobat or post the question in the Acrobat
newsgroup.

Hi Eeb,

The only MS Office core program that has direct support for CMYK values is MS Office Publisher, which can also do color separations.

Basically MS Office follows the Windows standard, RGB color space.
