Can you create an amortization schedule using Excel, if so How?

most versions of Excel come with an Amortization template. Search your hard
drive for *amortiz*.xls

Of course you can create one. They are really easy.

Beginning Bal Payment Principal Interest Ending Balance
6/27/2004 10613.00 163.28 116.85 46.43 10496.15

Something like that would be the first row. Beg Bal (in first ro
only) and Payment are hard code, principal =PMT-INT
Int = Beginning * Int rate
Ending bal = Beg-Principal

On next row, Beg bal is no longer hard code- it becomes =Ending balanc
from previous row.

Hope this helps...copying and pasting down needs to be done in correc
order. You'll figure it out. Hopefully this doesn't come out al
weird
