Can you override preset timings manually during a presentation??

I would like to have preset timings,but in case of unanticipated delay, would
like to be able to override this during a presentation. Is there someway this
can be done with either keyboard or mouse while the presentation is actually
in progress?

Malini,

In powerpoint it's possible to give each slide a "time" to wait before
advancing to the next slide
It's also possible to add a "wait for a mouse/keyboard" click before
advanving to the next slide

combining the two, you can have a timed show, that you can 'speed' up by
pressing the mouse/keyboard, BUT unfortunately you cannot slow something
down.

You can pause a powerpoint slideshow by pressing the S key on the keyboard.
Then pressing S again to continue

S=Pause :)
