can you play mp4 movies in powerpoint 2003

can you play mp4 movies in powerpoint 2003? When I try to load a movie file,
then MP4 does not appear as a file type option. Are there plugin you can get
for MP4 movies

Your best method would be to convert it to a more usage format (WMV).
However, MP4's may contain DRM protection that precludes their use.

PowerPoint 2003 cannot play MP4. To successfully play MP4 in PowerPoint, we ha
better convert MP4 to PowerPoint more friendly video format! Through th
practice: MPEG (MPG) is the most compatible video format which can work wel
with PowerPoint for both Windows and Mac version; WMV is well supported b
PowerPoint for Windows; MOV is well supported by PowerPoint for Mac

I always convert mp4 file to wmv file with firecoresoft video converter.
