I have an access aplication on my windows 98 computer and my computer is
acting funny. I wish to buy a new computer, most computers have xp on them.
Will I be able to transfer my access 97 database on the new xp computer?

Thanks

You will need to install Office 97 (or at least Access 97) on the new
computer.
You can do that if:

1. You uninstall it from the old computer
(and it isn't an OEM copy - ie came with the computer)

2. Or you have a new copy of Office/Access 97 (not easy to find)

Your Access 97 database will run on, or convert to, later Access versions,
if you'd like to do that, instead.

All versions of Access, from 1.1 through 2003, run just fine on
WindowsXP.
