There are also Run-Time versions of Access (but I'm not sure what versions

Virtually all modern computers have the Access database engine (it is called
Jet) installed, so if the user has Excel they can read/write a Jet database
(.mdb), but they cannot use the ACCESS end-user stuff to build queries and
forms etc.
