can you save a slide with its animation as a graphic?

I would like to save a powerpoint slide with its animation as a graphic to be
used in another program. Is it possible?

You can insert slides into word eg as an object or you could save the slide
as a single web page.

Is your question

(A) You want the 'final stage' of a build up slide as a 'static' graphic

or

(B) You want an animated file (complete with all the animation) (e.g. an
animated gif)

?
