I am trying to save an atrachment to the subject line not the attachment

then it wouldn't be an attachment...

if you want the subject to be the attachment name, select the attachment,
press F2 and copy the name, then paste in the subject field. Or you could
locate it using windows explorer, right click and choose Send to, Mail
recipient

No. It is a text field. What inspires you to want to do that?

The subject line FWIW has a maximum of 254 characters.
