Can you view Microsoft Access file (*.mdb) using a converter for W

I have a CD with a file created by Access (*.mdb). But I am unable to view
it. Is there a converter file for MS Office that allows you to view the
database? Or is it a case you must have the database?

There's no free "viewer" for Access databases, like there is for Excel and
Word. You should be able to connect to the tables in the database from
Excel or another database application to view the data. However, to view
all of the database objects and run the database application, you need
either the Runtime version or retail version of Access. You'll also need to
find out what version the MDB file was created in, because earlier versions
of Access can't read later versions of Access databases.
