cancel a meeting for 10 people except you want 2 peple to attend

i need to cancel a meeting on the calendar it is on the calendar for 12
people, but only 2 people need to attend it. do you have a simple way of
doing this

cancel the meeting for all 12 and create a new meeting only for the 2
people.
