Cancel notification selectively

Can I define that all resources will get automatic notification except a few
selected resources? I tried erasing these resources' email address from the
resource pool but to not avail.
Thanks,
Yoav

No, this is not possible. Instead, why don't you just teach people to set
up their own e-mail subscriptions for Alerts and Reminders? In Project
Server 2002 and 2003, resources can click the "Alert me about my tasks and
status reports" link in the sidepane on the Home page in PWA. In Project
Server 2007, resources can click the "Personal Settings" link in the Quick
Launch menu and then click the "Manage My Alerts and Reminders" link on the
Personal Settings page. Hope this helps.

I am surprised that erasing the email (from the Enterprise Resource Pool)
does not prevent users from receiving emails). Can you clarify that you
checked-out the enterprise resource pool and erased the email there? Trying
to delete the email from a project plan's resource sheet will not do the
trick as the resource information will load from the enterprise resource
pool each time the plan is opened.

First of all - thanks for your comments.
Is it possible that the mail is sent using User Win Authentication field
rather than Email address field?
p.s.
I'm using MSP2003 Server.

Yoav,

I don't believe that is possible. I believe it uses the email field only to
send out email notifications. Maybe someone else can chime in here as well.

Sorry for not being able to help out more on this.
