I am having a problem with my outlook 2007 im running on windows xp and it is
office professional plus 2007 that i am using.
I ended up erroring out during a setup of Outlook 2007 when i was setting up
my exchange server. Now everytime i try to open it it starts to configure
outlook and gives me the message "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is
unavailable. OUtlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
then it ask me to check the mailbox names and i cannot because the server is
not set up correctly when i hit either cancel or ok from there it pops up
this message. "Cannot open your default e-mail folders. The file
C:\Documents and settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost is not an offline folder file." after
hitting the ok it closes Outlook completely.
All that i basically wanna do is cancel it and start over. I have tried
uninstalling just outlook and reinstalling it. I have tried uninstalling all
of office and reinstalling it. I have tried deleting the folder that
contains the file that is listed above. None of these work. Everytime the
same thing comes back.
Thank yo in advance for the help.
