Hello Milly,

Yes that works - that how I downloaded the installation file. It's only
after when I am running Office apps that I have trouble accessing the the
"online" bits, templates, etc. NB the ActiveX add-in is installed / enabled.

Check to see if you are still having trouble getting to
http://officebeta.iponet.net (the online portion of
the Office 2007 beta). The site seems to be prone to some downtime on weekends.

Also check that your firewall is set to allow the Office apps through.

Hello Bob,
I can access that site but when I click "sign in", I get cannot find server.

I installed the AxtiveX again!

I can see / download templates but there are no pictures, only "no image"
icons with red cross in the corner. Other parts on MS sites are OK!

Works now - must have been the site down - shoud have been some notice
somewhere if this was the case?

Hi Mike,

Using the Office Online 2007 preview site (http://officebeta.iponet.net) requires the use of an ActiveX control in the browser.
It's normally installed as part of Office 2007 but you can manually install it from the link below as well. Be sure that your
browser supports and has settings needed to allow this activeX control.

Well, you get farther than I can. When I try to get to
http://officebeta.iponet.net, I get the following:

"You have arrived at this page because you are not a 2007 Microsoft Office
Beta release user. You must be a beta user to access the Office Online Beta
site."

I am a Beta2 User, I have the 4-disc foldout that Microsoft sent me.
