Cannont use Save As in Powerpoint

I have a problem whenever I go to save my work in
Powerpoint this is the message that I get. (Problem - I/0
Error the Microsoft Office 2000 settings stored in the
registry are damaged (corrupted)). I posted the error
under search and got several suggestions. One that I
followed was to delete a registry but the number 10 was
specified and I did not see it under Office. Could you
please help.
