How to ask a question:
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375
After furious head scratching, KellySingleton asked:
|| My memory was upgraded while I was out and now my address book is
|| gone. I still have all my contacts but when I follow Instructions on
||
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;287563&Product=ol2003
|| for linking my contacts to address book (Step 2 of instructions) it
|| does not
|| work. When I go to address a new email and click on the address
|| book icon to
|| input an email address, the following error appears "The address list
|| could
|| not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address
|| list could
|| not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have
|| permissions. For information on how to remove this folder fromthe
|| Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook help."
|| I checked the permissions and it reads "unrestricted" so permissions
|| is not
|| the problem. The box is checked in the
|| contacts/file/folder/properties for
|| contacts/outlook address book tab/show this folder as an email
|| address book
|| and it is titled contacts. It still will not link up. I still get
|| the same
|| error message. (this is on a different computer than the one I am
|| using right
|| now if that makes a difference)
