You're right, its a waste of time. Thanks for the input.

No, it doesn't explain it but once it's activated, it won't matter that
it
hung up while trying to do it online, will it?

BTW - I've activated software online. It took maybe 5 minutes at the
most.
How much time have you spent trying to do it your way?

That does not explain why I cannot activate online or shed any light on
how
to do it. I know that option is there but I need to activate fast as I
am
working from home and activating by phone takes longer.

I have a new cdrom office student & teacher 2003, I've installed it
and
when
the activation box appears it gets halfway then freezes, tried
umpteen
times
but cannot activate it. Pretty soon there will be no more tries
available.
Tried to uninstall and reinstall but to no avail. There's nothing
wrong
with
internet connection so im stumped,can anyone please shed some light?
