Cannot complete update for office of sp2

Everytime i try to install the update for SP2 for office, it fails and does
not give me a reason. Why is it doing this? I have Office Student and Teacher
Edition 2003, it does not prompt me to insert CD but I cannot install it on
my laptop or my PC.

When you try to install Office 2003 Service Pack 2, you receive a "The upgrade patch
cannot be installed by the windows installer service" error message, or the Setup
program may not be completed, and you do not receive notification
